LOS ANGELES ABRASION TESTING MACHINE - WITH PRESETTABLE DIGITAL COUNTER
As per IS:2386 - IV/ ASTM C131. Complete with revolution counter, G.I. Tray, 12 Nos. Abrasive charge and instruction manual. The machine is used tor testing crushed slag and crushed & uncrushed gravel for resistance to abrasion. The aim of the test is to find the percentage wear due to the relative rubbing action between the aggregates and steel balls used as abrasive charge. The oven-dried aggregates are weighed and rotated along with abrasive charge in the machine at 500 or 1000 revolutions and percentage of wear so found out is reported as Los Angeles abrasion value.

METHYLENE BLUE TEST SET FOR AGGREGATE FINES

AGGREGATE CRUSHING VALUE TEST APPARATUS
The Aggregate Crushing Value provides a relative measure of resistance of aggregate to crushing under a gradually applied compressive load. KIT FOR ESTIMATION OF ORGANIC IMPURITIES IN FINE AGGREGATES
The estimation of organic impurities in fine aggregates is critical since such impurities can adversely affect the properties of concrete. The test determines the presence of organic materials, mainly by colorimetric comparison of a solution of fine aggregate with a reference color standard.
REACTION CONTAINER - IS 2386 (PART VII)
