JET PUMP TEST RIG - 1 HP

The present is a self-contained unit operated on closed circuit basis containing a sump tank. It consists of a monoblock Jet Pump. Flow of fluid is measured by using measuring tank and stop watch. Vacuum gauge is fitted on suction line and Pressure gauge is fitted on delivery line to measure the pressure

EXPERIMENTATIONS:

1. To determine total head, pump output, overall efficiency and pump efficiency.
2. To Plot Head Vs. Discharge, Pump efficiency Vs. Discharge
   

UTILITIES REQUIRED:

1. Electricity Supply: Single Phase, 220 VAC, 50 Hz, 5-15 amp combined socket with earth connection.
2. Water Supply (Initial fill)
3. Floor Drain
4. Space required: 1.5 m x 0.75 m.
5. Digital Tachometer (To find RPM)
