Applications:

1. Pneumatic Model with constant rate of loading. (Load is increased on the pack gradually)
2. Suitable for testing the Seal Integrity of Liquid / Gas Filled - Pouches / Sachets / Blister-packs.
3. Suitable for 100 ml – 1,500 ml or larger packs.

This equipment is suitable for:

1) Dynamic Load Test (Destructive Mode)

1. Test Type : Press till failure
2. In this method, the sample is compressed until the pouch bursts.

2) Dynamic Load Test (Non-Destructive Mode)

1. Test Type : Press till Load Set-point. Then release.
2. In this method, the sample is compressed only upto the Load set-point Pre-Determined by the user. If the pouch bursts before the set-point is achieved, then this becomes a destructive test.
3. The machine automatically stops on sample failure or when the preset-load is achieved, Whichever is earlier.

3) Static Load Test (Non-Destructive Mode)

1. Test Type : Press till Load Set-point. Hold till Time Set-point is reached and then release.
2. Also known as : Pressure Decay Test
3. In this method, the sample is compressed upto the Load set-point Pre-Determined by the user. Then, the force is held on the pouch for some time (predetermined by the user). After the times elapses, the machine automatically returns to the original position. If the pouch bursts before the set-point is achieved, then this becomes a destructive test.
4. The machine automatically stops on sample failure or when the preset-load-time is achieved, Whichever is earlier.

Utilities Required (To be supplied by the buyer) :

1. Power Supply : 230 Volts AC at 50 Hz. (Fluctuation Free Power required)
2. Compressed Air supply at 5 - 6 kg/cm2 (Rust, Dirt and Moisture Free Supply)
3. Preferably use a FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) in the Air Supply.
4. 50 / 100 Kg Cast Iron Weights

These weights are required for calibration at the time of installation and then every 6-months for routine calibrations.
