The REFRIGERATION test rig works on simple vapor compression refrigeration cycle and uses R‑134a as a refrigerant. It is environment friendly refrigerant gas available in the market. The system is fabricated such that students can observe and study vapor compression cycle, its component principle & working. The arrangement of parts is such that, all the parts are visible, within reach and working can be easily understood

List of Experiments :

  1. To study various components and controls used in vapor  compression cycle.
  2. To evaluate actual & theoretical C.O.P.  of vapor compression cycle.
  3. To plot actual refrigeration cycle on P‑H chart.
