JODHPUR PERMEAMETER MOULD & RAMMER

1. The Jodhpur Permeameter is fabricated according to the design developed at the Soil Engineering Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Universiy of Jodhpur by Professor Alam Singh. The apparatus is simple, sturdy and truly versatile and can be used for studying the permeability characteristics of all types of soil samples under different conditions in the laboratory as well as in the field. Both falling head and constant head test can be performed. Both remoulded and undisturbed specimens can be tested.
   

The equipment comprises the following :

1. Top cap fitted with water inlet and air release vent.
2. Dynamic compaction base plate.
3. Perforated base plate & Perforated top plate.
4. Static compaction flanged end plug. 3 cm high.
5. Static compaction flanged end plug. 2.5 cm high.
6. Dolly & Centering ring for cutter
7. Wire gauge (200 mesh X 79 mm dia.)- 4 nos.
8. Pad of 25 filter papers, (79 mm dia.)
9. Copper wool pad.
10. Bolts with nuts- (4 nos.)
11. One set of two spanners.
12. Plastic funnel.
13. Pinch cocks - (4 nos).
14. Flexible tubing (2 meter length)
15. Wooden stand for mounting
16. Permeameter mould (capacity 0.3 liters, Cross-sectional area 50 cm square, effective height 6 cm.)
17. Split Collar.
18. 2.5 Kg. dynamic Raming Tool(2.5 kg.D.R.T.)
