Application: Determines the resistance of bituminous binder to hardening from heat and air using the Rolling Thin Film Oven Test.
Introduction: Simulates binder hardening during mixing and finishing. Prepares binder samples for mass change and other short-term aging tests.

Apparatus Details:
- Rotating Shelf: Vertical metal carriage, 304.8 mm diameter, rotates at 15 ± 0.2 RPM, holds eight glass containers.
- Sample Containers: 64 mm ± 1.2 mm diameter, 139.7 mm depth, flat-bottomed, heat-resistant glass.
- Thermometer: ASTM 13C, available with calibration traceability (extra cost).
Advanced model with Digital flow meter, Full S.S.construction, programmable speed control and touch sceen controller with data logging also available.
