The Automatic Rolling Thin Film Oven is a precision laboratory device designed to evaluate the properties of bitumen and asphalt materials. The Rolling Thin Film Oven complies with international standards including ASTM D2872, AASHTO T240, CNR N.54, EN 12607-1, and IS 15799-2008. It is designed to determine the resistance of bituminous binders to hardening from heat and air through the Rolling Thin Film Oven Test. This unit simulates the short-term aging that occurs during the mixing of binders with aggregates and the finishing of bituminous layers.
