FREEZING POINT APPARATUS

Basic Instrument for Freezing point to determine the freezing point of aviation fuels, which is critical for ensuring that the fuel remains in a liquid state under the operational conditions encountered during flight. The Procedure involves cooling the aviation fuel sample and observing the temperature at which the first hydrocarbon crystals appear. The freezing point is defined as the temperature at which crystals begin to form. Supplied without acetone or alcohol cooled by solid carbon dioxide as a cooling medium
