These test methods cover the determination of the flash point of petroleum products in the temperature range from 40 to 360° C by a manual Pensky Martens Closed Cup Apparatus. This apparatus is made as per IS 1209, IS 1448: Part 21, IS 1448: Part 66, ASTM D93, ISO 2719, IP 34, JIS K2265-3. Used for finding out Flash Point above 70°C and below 300°C. Suitable for operation on 220 Volts 50 cycles AC Circuits Detail Specification as per following page. Oil test jet device supplied as standard accessory. Glass Thermometer and Open clip available at extra cost.

Apparatus Details:

  1. The complete assembly consists of following parts and accessories
  2. Brass test cup with handles
  3. Removable cup cover with spring operated rotating shutter having Oil Test Jet
  4. Constant speed motorized stirrer with flexible shaft.
  5. The assembly rests in air bath, which is covered with flat shape metal top
  6. The cup is fitted with insulated handle and locking arrangement near cup flange.
  7. Fitted with electronic Digital temperature indicator and energy regulator control
  8. Suitable for operation on 220 Volts 50 cycles AC circuits.
  9. These test methods cover the determination of the flash point of petroleum products in the temperature range from 40 to 360° C by a manual Pensky Martens Closed Cup Apparatus.

At extra cost :

  1. The Instrument can be supplied with open clip for converting close cup model to open cup model as per IP:35 at extra cost.
  2. IP Thermometer No. 15C and 16C available at extra cost
