TUBE BURST STRENGTH TESTER - DIGITAL PENUMATIC MODEL
Model Number : EIE-PT-127DP06
Leak Burst Testers are essential tools for ensuring the safety and reliability of food, pharmaceutical, and medical packaging. Designed for sealed laminated tubes, the instrument evaluates seal integrity and internal burst resistance by applying controlled internal pressure until failure occurs. This helps manufacturers verify packaging strength, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
Compliance Standards:
ASTM F1140, F2054, F2095, F2096, ISO 11607
Applications:
- Leak burst testers are widely used in food, pharmaceutical, and medical packaging to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance.
- Suitable for testing the Seal Integrity & Internal burst resistance of Sealed Laminated Tubes
- It applies internal pressurization to a package until failure occurs, helping manufacturers assess durability under real-world conditions.
Key Functionalities:
- Pneumatic Model with constant rate of loading. (Pressure is increased on the TUBE gradually)
- Leak Test: Detects micro-leaks by monitoring pressure drop.
- Burst Test: Measures the maximum pressure a package can withstand before bursting.
- Combination Test: Performs both leak and burst tests sequentially.
Salient Features:
- Table top model
- Digital Electro-Pneumatic model
- Back-lit LCD Digital Display
- Embedded Push Buttons on control panel
- Peak hold facility
- Auto-calibration facility
- Overload safety cutoff at max capacity
- Interchangeable test fixtures
- Various measurement units i.e. Bar, PSI, KG/CM2 etc.
Supplied with following standard accessories:
- 3 mtr long, 6mm PU tube to connect compressed air supply to the Air Filter.
- Screw-On Caps tube Test stand
- Flip-Top Caps tube test stand (with and without acrylic shield)
- Power chord
- Data communication cable (In case of PC Software Which will be supplied at extra cost)
Utilities Required (To be supplied by the buyer):
- Power Supply : 230 Volts AC at 50 Hz. (Fluctuation Free Power required)
- Compressed Air supply at 5 - 6 kg/cm2 (Rust, Dirt and Moisture Free Supply)
- Preferably use a FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) in the Air Supply.
Principle of Operation:
(1) Leak Test : Air is injected into the package and internally pressurized up to a set pressure and held for a set time. The equipment will automatically detect leakages by monitoring the pressure drop. Additionally, if the package is tested when held under water, you will also see air bubbles from leak points. Even micro leakages which the equipment cannot detect via pressure drop, can be visible under water, making it a very reliable test.
(2) Burst Test : Air is injected into the package and internally pressurized until the sample bursts. The max burst pressure is displayed. This is considered as a 360 Degree Seal Strength / Seal Integrity Test. Additionally, you can identify the weakest point of your package as it will fail first.
(3) Leak Burst Test : A combination of the above 2 tests. First the Leak Test will happen. If the package FAILS in Leak Test, the test is abandoned. If the package passes the Leak Test, it is automatically subjected to the Burst Test. So you can do 2 test on the same package, while saving time on sample preparation.
