APPARATUS FOR DISTILLATION OF EMULSIFIED ASPHALT - (WITH RING BURNER) - (ASTM D244, ASTM D6997)
The distillation of emulsified asphalt is performed to determine the water and residual asphalt content of emulsified asphalts. The process separates water from asphalt by applying heat and measuring the residue. Complies with ASTM D244, ASTM D6997, AASTHO T59.
BEAM MOULD
Manufactured as per IS:10086 / IS:10086-2021 standards, available in both Cast Iron and Mild Steel construction. Cast Iron moulds feature 10mm plate thickness with base plate, weighing approx. 20 kg (total 28–30 kg) and 45 kg variants (size 150 × 150 × 700 mm). Mild Steel moulds are low cost, approx. 28–30 kg, However, for Mild Steel variants, strict BIS dimensional accuracy and tolerance cannot be assured, and no rejection will be accepted on account of quality variations.
MOISTURE CAN
Moisture Cans are precision containers made of seamless, corrosion-resistant metal with airtight lids, used for determining the moisture content of soil, aggregates, and other materials. Their leak-proof design ensures accurate weight measurement before and after oven drying, making them essential for laboratory and field testing.
BALLAST SIEVE
Ballast Sieve is used for grading and particle size analysis of railway ballast and coarse aggregates. It helps determine the size distribution of materials to ensure compliance with specified standards for construction and railway engineering applications.
LAB BALL MILL
Laboratory Ball Mill, Available in 5 kg and 10 kg capacity models, each supplied with a pre-settable digital counter and 12 Nos. 19 mm diameter steel balls. Steel balls of various sizes are available at extra cost for customized testing requirements.
MARSHALL MOULD
The Marshall Mould is designed for the preparation of Marshall specimens, this mould assembly conforms to ASTM D1559, AASHTO T245, EN 12697-10, and ASTM D6926 standards. It is manufactured from high-quality seamless steel and finished with a durable powder coating to ensure long-term corrosion resistance. Suitable for use with both automatic and manual compactors. The set comprises a mould body, collar, and base plate, and is available in 4-inch and 6-inch diameters for precise and consistent asphalt sample preparation.
MARSHAL RAMMER
Compaction Hammer with flat, circular tamping face, available with 10.21 ± 0.01 kg or 4.5 kg (10 lbs) sliding weight, and 457.2 ± 2.5 mm (18 inch) free fall. The 10.21 kg model features a 149.4 mm diameter tamping face.
BITUMEN SAMPLER
Bitumen Samplers (Tube Type and Scoop Type) are designed for safe and accurate sampling of bitumen in accordance with BIS 1201 standards. DISC PULVERIZER
Disc pulverizer with L&T Starter is a disc type grinder, designed to grind virtually any material to produce a fine mesh up 70 mesh sample in one operation.
PLANETARY MIXER
It consists of three parts: heating pot, stirrer and Lifting mechanism. The temperature of the heating pot can be set arbitrarily from room temperature to 250 ℃, and the temperature can be controlled automatically. The agitator is composed of a mixing head, a motor and a mixing paddle. During operation, the mixing paddle rotates and rotates in the pot to mix the mixture. The mixing time is controlled by timer and can be set arbitrarily in the range of 1-9999 seconds. The lifting mechanism is composed of motor, belt reducer, lead screw and other components, which is used to realize the lifting of agitator. When feeding or discharging, the agitator rises to the highest position, while when mixing, the agitator drops to the lowest position.
BITUMEN EXTRACTOR
Designed for accurate determination of bitumen in hot mix and pavement samples, this apparatus ensures smooth, vibration-free operation with variable speed up to 3600 RPM (motorized model). FLOW TABLE (CONCRETE)
Flow Table for Concrete is designed to determine the workability and flow characteristics of fresh concrete in accordance with IS:1199 (Part 6):2018, IS:9103, and EN 12350-5/12350-8 standards. The unit is supplied complete with a slump cone and is available in three table sizes: 700 × 700 mm, 900 × 900 mm, and 1000 × 1000 mm. Models are also available with Brass Top and Mild Steel Top of 762 mm (76.2 cm) diameter as per IS:1199-1959 (Reaffirmed 2004). SOUTHARD VISCOMETER - IS:6932 (Part - 6)
Lime putty consistency can be adjusted using this instrument. A 50 mm. I.D. metal cylinder is mounted on a wooden platform. A close fitting piston moves up and down without turning in this cylinder. Working stroke is 65 mm. A metal bridge is provided to measure degree to which ejected putty out of cylinder has slumped. As per IS:6932 (Part - 6)
PROPORTIONAL CALIPER
Proportional Caliper is used to measure the dimensions and shape characteristics of aggregates, including flakiness and elongation. It provides accurate measurements for assessing aggregate quality and compliance with standard testing requirements.
