KIT FOR ESTIMATION OF ORGANIC IMPURITIES IN FINE AGGREGATES
The estimation of organic impurities in fine aggregates is critical since such impurities can adversely affect the properties of concrete. The test determines the presence of organic materials, mainly by colorimetric comparison of a solution of fine aggregate with a reference color standard.

As per (IS:2720 Part XI & XII) for determining the shear strength parameters of saturated soils from triaxial compression shear tests conducted under consolidated undrained conditions with measurements of pore water pressures.
