1. Scope:

The EIE-PTLT-105E LPG Copper Corrosion Testing Bath is designed and manufactured for determining the corrosive characteristics of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) on copper strips in full compliance with ASTM D1838 (latest edition) and equivalent international standards.

3. Test Method (Reference Summary):

1. A polished copper strip is immersed in an LPG sample inside a sealed pressure cylinder
2. Cylinder is maintained vertically in a temperature-controlled bath
3. Test temperature: 37.8 °C ± 0.5 °C
4. Test duration: 1 hour ± 5 minutes
5. Copper strip is visually rated against standard corrosion reference strips
